Biltmore collects information you provide in financing forms, correspondence, appointment requests, and supporting documents. Biltmore may also collect limited information reasonably necessary to secure access, prevent fraud, and document activity and consent.

The information requested depends on the financing option and stage of review. Biltmore seeks only information reasonably relevant to the requested business-financing services.

  • Business information such as legal name, industry, time in business, revenue, and financing purpose
  • Transaction information such as requested amount, use of funds, property type, occupancy, and acquisition structure
  • Security and activity information such as timestamps, consent records, and access events

Sensitive information

Certain financing reviews may require a date of birth, Social Security number, government-issued identification, or other sensitive information. Provide those items only when specifically requested through the designated secure process.

Do not send Social Security numbers, identification images, bank credentials, medical information, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary email, general contact fields, or text messages.

How information may be used

Submitted information may be used to respond to an inquiry, evaluate available financing options, identify missing information, prepare and review a financing request, prevent fraud, maintain security, document consent, and comply with applicable obligations.

Biltmore may also use information to communicate about the requested services, maintain business records, improve the client experience, and protect its legal rights.

Federal court public-record searches

When an applicant separately authorizes a public-record search, Biltmore may review federal court records concerning the applicant and the business named in the application for filings made during the previous 10 years.

A possible name match is not treated as a confirmed identity match or a credit decision. Biltmore may request additional information to determine whether a record concerns the applicant or business.

Section 06

When information may be shared

Biltmore may share information with financing sources, professional advisers, or other parties when reasonably necessary to provide requested services, comply with law, protect against fraud, or complete a transaction you authorize.

Biltmore does not sell or rent personal information and does not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information is disclosed only as permitted by law and consistent with the applicable request or authorization.

Cookies and similar technology

The website may use essential cookies necessary to maintain secure access, remember preferences, and support core site functions. Blocking essential cookies may prevent portions of the website from working correctly.

The site and financing services are intended for adults acting for a business. They are not directed to children under 18, and Biltmore does not knowingly seek personal information from children through this experience.
